Pear-cut pink and violet sapphires tumble among marquise-diamond leaves in a long, articulated pendant suspended from a pink silk cord. The stones graduate in tone from soft rose to deep amethyst, each facet catching light at a slightly different angle, so the piece seems to shift colour as it moves against the wearer's skin. The setting is open and airy, allowing the gems to float within a lattice of precious metal that traces the silhouette of orchid petals. Marquise diamonds, set at gentle angles between the sapphires, lend a cool brilliance that sharpens the warmth of the pink and violet hues. Every join is finished by hand, giving the cascade its fluid, organic drape. Worn long, the pendant rests at the sternum and sways with each step, a private garden carried close to the heart.
