The Jewel Tier Earrings

A step-cut blue sapphire, an oval yellow gem, a round emerald and a pear-cut pink drop descend in four diamond-haloed tiers, a single earring telling a whole palette. Each stone is chosen for the depth of its saturation, then cradled in a micro-pavé diamond halo that isolates its colour and amplifies its light. The progression reads like a chromatic scale: cool to warm, structured to fluid, the geometry of the step cut softening through oval and round until it resolves in the organic point of the pear. Set in white gold, the metalwork is kept deliberately slender so nothing competes with the stones. The links between tiers allow a gentle articulation, letting the earring follow the line of the neck with quiet movement. Worn together as a pair, they frame the face in symmetrical colour; each one, held alone, is a complete composition in itself.
