The Imperial Gold Pen N°48 One of One
Fountain Pen · Gold

The Imperial Gold Pen

A mirror-polished gold fountain pen, its cap set with gem-studded flowerheads and a lozenge of pavé stones.

A fountain pen turned in mirror-polished gold, the cap crowned with diamond and ruby flowerheads. Clusters of small brilliant-cut diamonds surround cabochon rubies in a raised floret motif, while a central lozenge of pavé-set stones catches the light with each turn of the cap. A collector's writing instrument made to sit on the desk as an object in its own right. The barrel tapers to a smooth, rounded finial, its surface left deliberately unadorned so the warmth of the gold speaks for itself. Between the gem-set registers, fine ridged banding encircles the cap, lending a quiet architecture that frames the stones without competing with them. In the hand, the pen carries a satisfying heft. It is the kind of instrument one reaches for not out of necessity but out of pleasure, a reminder that the act of writing deserves the same consideration as the words themselves.
