Objet d'Art · Wine Decanter
The Imperial Dragon Decanter
A hand-cut crystal wine decanter clasped by a sculpted gold dragon, wings spread and talons curled around the base.
The signature Algems decanter: a faceted crystal vessel guarded by a gold dragon with outstretched wings. A museum-grade objet d'art in which the ritual of wine becomes sculpture.
The dragon coils upward from a sculpted base, its wings unfurling along the broadest facets of the crystal body as if claiming the vessel for its own. Each scale, each talon, each sinew of the folded tail is worked individually, lending the creature a tension that feels momentarily stilled rather than frozen. The crystal beneath it is hand-cut into deep, precise facets that catch and scatter light, transforming a pour of wine into shifting colour held inside geometry.
To live with this decanter is to understand that function and ornament need not compete. It stands at the centre of a table or a cabinet with the quiet authority of a reliquary, yet it pours as gracefully as any classic carafe. One of a kind, it exists at the threshold where craft becomes collection.
