The Emerald Sovereign

Emerald-cut emeralds introduce geometry and discipline to the collar's upper tiers, their saturated green held in precise rectangular settings that trace a continuous line around the neck. Below, pear-shaped emeralds soften the structure with movement and femininity, suspended at graduated intervals so the lowest stone rests in a single teardrop at the throat. The interplay between the two cuts gives the necklace its distinctive rhythm: order yielding, step by step, to fluidity. Layers of marquise, pear and brilliant-cut diamonds create a luminous frame between and around each emerald, their white fire amplifying the depth of green at the centre of every cluster. The setting work is intricate and open, allowing light to circulate freely through the composition. Each tier reads as its own chapter of contrast, geometry against curve, colour against brilliance, yet the whole resolves into a single seamless cascade.
