The Emerald & Gold Pendant

Green ovals, rich and deeply saturated, are set at gentle intervals along a meandering river of white diamonds. Between them, small florets of yellow diamonds bloom in clustered arrangements, their warm tones lending a sunlit counterpoint to the cool brilliance of the central line. The effect is organic and unhurried, as though the stones had found their places naturally. Each green gem is cradted in a minimal gold setting that allows light to pass freely through its pavilion, intensifying the colour from within. The yellow-diamond flowers are composed of tightly grouped rounds, their petals just catching the light at different angles. White diamonds trace the sinuous path that connects them, their calibrated brightness giving the composition its underlying structure. Suspended from a fine silk cord, the pendant rests quietly against the body, its weight distributed along the flowing line of stones. It is a piece that rewards closeness, revealing its construction and colour only to those near enough to look.
