The Carnival Bangle

Ribbons of yellow and white gold wind around the wrist, strewn with a confetti of emeralds, pink and violet sapphires, golden gems and round pearls among lines of pavé diamond. It is a carnival worn on the wrist, each twist of metal catching the light at a different angle. The bangle's structure is a feat of patient goldsmithing: sinuous bands interweave and overlap, creating depth and movement without bulk. Stones are set along the curves rather than against them, so the colour appears to drift organically across the surface. Small round pearls punctuate the gem work, their soft lustre tempering the brilliance of the diamonds that trace every edge. On the wrist it sits with quiet spectacle. The palette shifts as the hand turns, revealing now a flash of emerald green, now a blush of pink sapphire, now the warm glow of a golden stone nestled beside a pearl. It is jewellery that rewards a second glance, and then a third.
