The Canary Fringe Necklace

A brick-set bib of white and canary diamonds ends in a fringe of yellow pear drops, anchored by a single large pear-cut yellow diamond. The graduated lattice sits close to the collarbone, each stone individually set so that the surface moves as a continuous, luminous textile rather than a rigid collar. Above the fringe, tightly packed rows of round brilliant white diamonds give way to canary yellows, the transition so finely calibrated that it reads as warm light deepening toward the hem. The pear-shaped drops hang freely along the lower edge, swaying with the slightest gesture, while the centre stone, notably larger than the rest, draws the eye downward to a single commanding point of golden fire. The effect is at once architectural and fluid: a piece conceived to follow the body's movement, catching and releasing light with every breath. It is the work of many hundreds of hours, each setting placed to sustain the illusion that the diamonds simply grew this way.
