The Empress's Cascade is a commanding high jewellery necklace conceived as a modern expression of sovereignty, feminine strength, and timeless refinement. Four graduated strands of lustrous South Sea pearls sweep across the collarbone, gathered at the centre by a pair of geometric diamond clasps set with emerald-cut stones and framed by pavé borders. The architecture recalls the clean geometry of Art Deco, translated here into a language of quiet authority.
Beneath the central motif, five articulated drops fall in a tapering curtain, each line threaded with brilliant-cut and pear-cut diamonds that alternate with pearls of descending size. The effect is one of controlled movement: light travels down each strand and pools in the lowest pearl before returning upward. Diamond rondelles placed between the pearls along each strand add subtle punctuation and ensure an even drape against the skin.
To wear the piece is to carry weight without heaviness. The pearls rest warm and smooth, their orient shifting from ivory to champagne as the light changes, while the diamond centrepiece holds the composition in place with architectural precision. It is a necklace that commands a room from the threshold.
